Boutique Hotel in Sydney
The 200-room QT Sydney is the flagship of the QT brand, on the corner of George and Market Streets in Sydney. With an eye for modern design whilst reflective of past, the 200 guest suites that make up the QT Sydney hotel have been carefully crafted within the historic Gowings and State theatre buildings. This boutique Sydney accommodation retains many of the buildings most distinctive features, such as the blend of Gothic, Art Deco, and Italianate influenced architecture that form the dazzling exterior of the building.
With a contemporary and, at times, quirky design, all guestrooms feature creature comforts such as luxurious bedding, high-speed internet, walk-in showers and most guest suites also offer an indulgent oversized soaking tub.
The lower levels of this truly designer Sydney Hotel, will retain a historical allure but be the home of Sydney’s hottest new bar Gilt Lounge and Robert Marchetti’s newest creation Gowings Bar & Grill.

Most recently, we welcomed QT Canberra into the family which saw the redesign of the iconic Lakeside Canberra hotel.
We know that you need a strong handshake, a great slogan, and an eye on the prize at all times to be successful in politics – whether that’s the politics so prevalent in the ACT or the politics you negotiate when you see your mother in law.
We also know that for the perfect hotel stay you need a strong service team, a great bar and restaurant, and to keep an eye on guests needs at all times (well most of the time anyway because what happens in your room is a closed door meeting).
QT Canberra embraces new technology, distinctive art and cutting edge design with a unique culinary experience at the signature Capitol Bar & Grill Restaurant. The property adopts a cheeky political vibe and has it’s very own Speakeasy named Lucky’s.
Stay tuned for more QT hotel openings across Australia.
